OUR MISSION STATEMENT CODE OF CONDUCT
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to be recognised as one of the best organised and run football clubs in Yorkshire.
We will play a lead role in developing grass roots football in the county.
We will achieve consistent success in producing and developing players at all levels.
We will achieve consistent success in producing top quality coaches and officials through our club player and coach development scheme.
Halifax Irish will become the benchmark club for youth football development in Yorkshire.
We will provide a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants; help to build positive self-esteem for players; teach team participation and responsibility; teach participants to respect and honour opponents and all other participants (coaches, officials, parents); teach sportsmanship and fair play; teach football skills in an environment where players compete with other players of comparable age and weight; and teach all participants how to win, how to lose, and how to do both with dignity.
Halifax Irish Junior Football Club is fully committed to safe-guarding and promoting the well being of all its members. The club believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with Jimmy Dempsey, Sue Dempsey, Sharon Normanton, Joanne Bowers or any coach/manager.
